Whether you chose Custom Scuba Instruction for training locally or in the Keys, my promise is to provide my best training efforts with each course you take. I'm patient & thorough. And, while I take the training seriously, I'll make sure we have fun too. As a Master Scuba Diver Trainer, I can take you through Open Water Diver certification, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver (including CPR & First Aid) and on up to Divemaster and 14 Specialty ratings along the way.

PADI Scuba Open Water Instruction consists of 3 parts:

1) Self paced knowledge development using the PADI instruction manual & video

2) Confined Water Training dives

3) Open Water Training dives.

My offer with Custom Scuba Instruction is to flexibly schedule the review of your knowledge development at a time & place that is mutually convenient for us. For your initial PADI Open Water Certification, we'll also fit your Confined Water training to our schedules. Also called pool work, we can do these training dives in my pool or yours if it meets PADI standards. If you live in the Tampa area, we can work it out.

The best part of Custom Scuba Instruction is the recommended location of your Open Water Training! We can go down to the Florida Keys for a long weekend and wonderful dives. There are numerous reefs suitable for training scuba dives. They are close to shore in Key Largo or Islamorada. The water's 15 to 30 feet deep & beautiful!  You'll see colorful critters and we'll tour a real reef during each training session! See my Gallery.

For the OW Cert at least 2 nights in the Keys are needed, but I recommend 3 or more. Get certified & perhaps do a couple of more scuba dives to gain experience & confidence. Make it a family trip or a corporate conference or entertain a client. Relax or work it! And learn to dive at the same time. Alright! Let's go scuba diving...   whoa, you say, what's it gonna cost?

Note: Advanced Open Water, Specialty Courses & Divemaster only involve parts  1 & 3.
